Amex Ventures partners launch USD 78 million FinTech fund

Three former managing directors of Amex Ventures have raised USD 78 million for their first fund, which will support early-stage FinTech startups.

Dana Eli-Lorch, Lindsay Fitzgerald, and Julia Huang founded Vesey Venture, which will invest in early-stage FinTech and enabling technology businesses with a focus on companies that can quickly partner with established financial firms.

Along with backing companies like Melio, Plaid, Stripe, and Trulioo, Eli-Lorch, Fitzgerald, and Huang have formed more than 100 partnerships between startups and financial services organizations over the course of their nearly ten years of investing together.
