CaixaBank has announced the launch of the bank’s currency markets platform, FXNow. The company aims to offer a virtual account service for currencies to all companies.

With no opening or ongoing maintenance fees, the service would provide virtual accounts to businesses in more than 50 currency pairs to help with sending and receiving foreign payments. The FXWallets service will offer the advantages of conventional bank accounts in addition to a faster and more user-friendly experience.

The bank said that beginning in September of this year, all interested customers will have access to FXWallets via the bank’s mobile app and online website. CaixaBank released an app earlier this year that transforms smartphones into point-of-sale systems, enabling business owners to manage money from their phone.
