As part of its financial practice, specialized insurance provider CFC has announced the formation of a dedicated FinTech team. The CFC noted that this new team will bring together underwriters with experience in writing technology risks, financial institutions, and over 40 years of industry experience.
Furthermore, according to CFC, this team will be the first of its kind in the London market and will concentrate primarily on developing and underwriting insurance solutions for FinTech companies all over the world.
According to Neil Beaton, the Financial Institutions Practice Leader at CFC, “technology plays an integral role in the global financial infrastructure, whether it is underpinning day-to-day operations or delivering new ways of servicing customers.”
