Experian introduces US FinTech data network to tackle fraud

With a number of leading companies pledging to participate, Experian is launching a FinTech-focused version of its fraud prevention data network, Hunter, in the US.

Hunter is a cooperative data network that gives users a window into borrower activity across the FinTech sector so they can assess the likelihood of fraud. By contributing data that is then securely linked throughout the network, participants will share fraudulent activity in real-time.

Fintechs can query the network as they build new client relationships or validate those they already have. Before its debut, the new US FinTech version has signed up nine unnamed firms.
