HSBC Launches New Forex App for Non-Customers, Taking on Revolut, Wise

HSBC Holdings Plc has announced that it is slated to launch an international payments app for non-customers.

According to reports, this is an attempt to directly challenge the dominance of fintech companies like Revolut and Wise Plc, which have amassed tens of millions of retail customers by providing inexpensive foreign exchange.

Zing will launch in the UK, but in the upcoming months, the biggest bank in Europe plans to expand the service to other locations in an effort to capture a larger portion of the rapidly expanding market that caters to high-net-worth individuals.
