Revolut and Natwest launch Apple’s Tap to Pay in the UK as its initial partners

In conjunction with NatWest’s UK rollout of the technology, Revolut has made Apple’s Tap to Pay on the iPhone available to business and freelancing customers.

Without the use of additional terminals or hardware, users of Tap to Pay can accept contactless payments in-person by simply tapping their payment cards or mobile wallets. Customers of Revolut have access to Tap to Pay right from the Revolut app or the Revolut Business app.

The technology’s rollout by UK lender NatWest, which is integrating Tap to Pay into its merchant acquiring platform Tyl, coincides with the launch.
