Square introduces an accelerator program for Black and Latino business owners

In order to offer funding, coaching, and mentoring to Black and Latino retail entrepreneurs, Square has launched a business accelerator program.

On the Forward program, the payments company collaborates with the Social Change Fund United and businesspeople like Dwyane Wade, Rosario Dawson, and Ayesha Curry. 25 early-stage businesses will receive USD 20,000 in funding from Forward, as well as exclusive access to trainings created in collaboration with 1863 Ventures.

The topics covered in the training sessions will include everything from managing financial growth to scaling operations to developing customers.
