The BIS Innovation Hub inaugurated in Paris and Frankfurt

With a focus on decentralized finance, wholesale CBDC, cyber-security, and green finance, the Bank for International Settlements opened its European Hub in both Paris and Frankfurt.

The Hub will be staffed by a multidisciplinary team that will collaborate with central banks in the area to look into some of the most urgent technological challenges the global financial system is currently facing. The Eurosystem Hub is a component of a coordinated global initiative by central banks to keep up with cutting-edge technology.

It is a part of a network that currently includes Switzerland, Hong Kong, London, Singapore, and Stockholm.
