With the introduction of a POS terminal, European payments FinTech Mollie is expanding its in-person capabilities. For both online and offline transactions, Mollie Terminal uses a single API and supports the necessary wallets and payment methods.
The company said that Mollie Dashboard allows businesses to report, reconcile, and settle all processed payments, doing away with the need for paper-based “closing the day” tasks. The new hardware expands on the QR code-based in-person payment functionality already available, and Mollie plans to release Tap to Pay for Android later this year.
With plans to expand into other European markets in the coming months, the Mollie Terminal will initially be made available to customers in Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands.
